Low Testosterone Treatment

Testosterone is a major sex hormone that holds fundamental roles in our bodies. It is responsible for physical characteristics like having a deep voice, body and facial hair, muscle sizes, etc, as well as its role in sexual maturity, fertility, and sexual performance. (1)
On average, an individual’s testosterone level peaks in the late teens and remains consistent throughout the 20s. Once in the 30s, many often begin to experience a steady decline in their testosterone to which it will continue to decrease at a rate of about 2% each year into their 40s and 50s. At this rate, those who suffer from low testosterone can expect to have half of their peak testosterone level by age 70.

At Evolved Medical, we prioritize safety and satisfaction, providing testosterone replacement treatment (TRT) for our patients. We also provide comprehensive consultations and follow-up appointments to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care throughout their treatment of low testosterone. Contact us today at (925) 433-8444 or fill out a form to schedule a consultation with Dr. Amit Rajguru and learn more about how our low testosterone treatment can benefit you.

How Does it Work?

After your initial consultation which is free, we typically do a comprehensive lab panel to evaluate testosterone levels as well as several other hormones and markers that are needed for testosterone replacement therapy. Once the labs are back you will meet with our doctor where together we will evaluate whether you were a good candidate for testosterone replacement therapy. If we begin treatment, your medications will be delivered to your address. Afterwards, you will meet with the physician every 2 to 3 months until a healthy testosterone level is achieved and your symptoms are significantly improved.

Benefits of Pellet Therapy

If pellet therapy is required we often start treatment right away at that first consultation which includes the lab review. Testosterone pellets are inserted under the skin in a simple and quick office procedure that is painless. The benefit of testosterone pellet therapy lies in its convenience. Men typically come to the office every 4 or 5 months for pellet insertions. In between those insertions, you can live your life without having to do anything like giving yourself injections, taking oral estrogen blockers or applying creams.

Follow up visits are required, at minimum, every six months as hormone levels fluctuate over time and adjustment of dosing is often required.

Results

Our patients routinely see improvements in energy, libido or sex drive, strength, body composition such as improved muscle and increased fat burning. Additionally, mood elevations and improved motivation are often noted.

Corresponding and Complementary Procedures

Growth Hormone Peptide Therapy

As men age, the natural production of growth hormone (GH) in the body decreases. This decline can lead to various symptoms such as decreased muscle mass, increased body fat, low energy levels, and decreased libido. However, there is a solution to this problem. Growth Hormone Peptide Therapy involves the use of peptides that stimulate the release of GH in the body. These peptides are administered via injections and work by stimulating the pituitary gland to produce more GH. The therapy has been shown to enhance workouts and workout recovery.  Growth Hormone Peptide Therapy also helps to increase muscle mass, decrease body fat, improve sleep quality, boost energy levels, and enhance sexual performance.

ED Treatment

Acoustic Wave Therapy involves the use of low-intensity sound waves to stimulate the growth of new blood vessels and improve blood flow to the penis. This therapy works by using high-frequency, low-intensity sound waves that are delivered to the penis through a specialized device. The sound waves penetrate deep into the penile tissue, promoting the release of growth factors and inducing neovascularization, which is the formation of new blood vessels.
